First Phnom Penh Crown Academy squad

It has already been over nine years since Phnom Penh Crown established their football academy. Phnom Penh Crown Academy is one of the projects in Phnom Penh Crown’s master plan introduced by club president Rithy Samnang including RSN Stadium, Women’s team, U11, U13, U16, and U18.

Men’s football academy was founded on February 10, 2011, with many children from seventeen cities and provinces in Cambodia joining the trial. Twenty-two children were selected to join Phnom Penh Crown Academy under the coaching of Bouy Dary and Kao Kiri.

Phnom Penh Crown cooperated with Asia Pacific Football Academy (APFA) to provide the training on football foundation. The players also had opportunities to play and train abroad. They joined Singapore Sixes Youth Tournament in Singapore and played several friendly matches in Malaysia and Vietnam.

Phnom Penh Crown Academy also won several championships in Cambodia including U17 for two times, U15 for two times, and U14 as they ended the tournament unbeaten and went on to score one hundred and twenty-seven.
