Yue Safy is satisfied with the three points Phnom Penh Crown earned from their 7-0 victory over Bati Youth on Sunday, when he also delivered two assists that he thinks resulted from his regular practice during the training.

The center-back also lauded Orn Chanpolin’s hard work and understanding of the center-back’s role as the midfielder was used as a center-back in the absence of Kok Boris and Sok Sovan due to respective injury.

Yue Safy told ppcfc.com: “I am pleased with the three points from an away game with no conceding goals. For me, I think these two assists come from the right decision, and I did that during our training.

“Orn Chanpolin is a good player. He works hard and always concentrates in the training, so he can understand the center-back’s positioning. He did well with this position, and he tried so hard.

“I think we have a better start [than last season], so we get some more confidence from the first two games. But we must focus on the next coming matches, and definitely it won’t be easy for us.

“Through the first two games, we know our team still isn’t good enough, but it’s a good test to improve for the next games.”
