Mao Savin claims that Phnom Penh Crown Women’s Team are committed to bringing the trophy home after they reach the final of the Women’s Football Tournament for the first time in the club’s history.
Phnom Penh Crown Women’s Team downed Siem Reap Women’s Team 1-0 in the semi-final of the Women’s Football Tournament to progress to the final, where they face Svay Rieng Women’s Team on December 23.
The Phnom Penh Crown Women’s Team coach believes that attack and defense are what her side need to improve ahead of the final with defending champions Svay Rieng Women’s Team.
Mao Savin told ppcfc.com: “I am very excited and impressed by the hard work our players have put in after we reach the final of the Women’s Football Tournament for the first time in the club’s history.
“We always show our support and encourage our players in every game they play as we need to work as a team. I’d like to thank everyone at the club for their support that makes us stronger and reach the final.
“We are ready and have a very good preparation for the final. We have time for recovery. Our plan is to strengthen our attack as well as defense.
“We have followed Svay Rieng in a few games. They are the defending champions, so it won’t be easy for us. But we are ready to give our all.
“Lastly, big thank to Phnom Penh Crown for the chance to allow us to show our quality on the pitch and the fans for the amazing support.”
