Phnom Penh Crown face Angkor Tiger at the Smart RSN Stadium on Sunday, and Sum Vanna urges his side to play with the same winning mentality they had during their first three matches in the Metfone Cambodian League this season.

Both sides have yet to lose a single match this season as the Red Singha top the table through three wins and a draw, while fourth-placed Angkor Tiger secure two wins and two draws.

Sum Vanna told ppcfc.com: “I think the clash with Angkor Tiger will be tough for us because they have effective attack and good midfield. They did really well in their last four league games with two draws against big teams and two wins. They are a strong team, and they finished in a good position last season.

“Last season, we defeated them at home and drew in an away game, and we know it’s the pitch condition that made it hard for both sides.

“We have a great start as we won our first three games, but in our fourth game we drew with defending champions Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng, who play in the AFC Cup. We will do our best against Angkor Tiger like what we did in our first three games.

“It’s a home game, so we will try our best to get a good result. We will try to prepare a good team and boost the team motivation. We will welcome several players from injury. Phnom Penh Crown are having a great start, so we will try to keep this record.”
