Phnom Penh Crown entertain Angkor Tiger at the Smart RSN Stadium, and Sum Vanna said that his side are ready to produce another tremendous outcome from this Saturday’s encounter with the Siem Reap-based club.
Angkor Tiger are in their fine form recently after they secured seven league victories from eleven matches to occupy the third spot in the Metfone Cambodian League table.
Their foreign striker Okereke Timothy, who has netted fifteen times for Oriol Mohedano’s side this term, is the current top goal scorer, and he likes to use his physical advantage to score against the opposition teams.
Sum Vanna, therefore, instructs his players to be careful and well-organized as they will face the Nigerian striker, who can put the Red Singha in danger anytime he gets the ball.
The Phnom Penh Crown caretaker manager told ppcfc.com: “They are the in-form team, and they are performing well recently. They have quality foreign striker, so we need to be well-prepared for this weekend’s clash.”
Paulo Victor, who was forced off due to injury during Phnom Penh Crown’s 5-0 win over Electricite Du Cambodge last week, is set to be available for this Saturday’s clash after Sum Vanna declares no injury concerns.
Sum Vanna said: “We are in a good shape this week as all of our players are training hard to get ready for the game. We don’t have any injury issues, so we will do everything it takes to win the game and produce a good match at home for our supporters.”
