Phnom Penh Crown have a tough task to do this Saturday as they travel to Siem Reap for their Metfone Cambodian League clash with Soltilo Angkor.
The Red Singha are working hard during this week to face the home side that have a strong and well-organized defense.
Sum Vanna, who guided Phnom Penh Crown to a superb 3-0 win against G.C National Police in his first match in charge as the club’s caretaker manager, admits that facing Soltilo Angkor in an away encounter is a tough test for his side.
Sum Vanna’s side are, however, ready to deal with the challenges they are likely to face at the Siem Reap Stadium.
The 38-year-old told ppcfc.com: “Against G.C National Police last week, we focused a lot on attack and practiced many times to improve our attack.
“We have organized good training sessions during this week before the match with Soltilo Angkor.
“It will be tough, so we must try our best to play against them in the away match.
“Soltilo Angkor is a good tactical team, so it will be very difficult to face them especially in an away game.
“Most of their players are experienced and talented, and they also have quality Japanese players to help them too.
“We need to improve our set piece especially from the corner kick as we are not doing well with it yet.”
