Phnom Penh Crown entertain Kampong Cham at the Smart RSN Stadium this Saturday in the conclusion match of the 2019 Cambodian League, and Sum Vanna knows the Red Singha must be aware of the improvement of the visitor.
Sum Vanna’s side demolished Kampong Cham 17-2 in their first league encounter of the season, but the Phnom Penh Crown caretaker manager urges his side not to write Kampong Cham off.
Sum Vanna told ppcfc.com: “It won’t be an easy game for us. Kampong Cham have brought in several foreign players, so I think they won’t concede many goals like they did against us in the first leg.
“Most of the teams have shown that they are capable to play against us, so our players will do their best against Kampong Cham this weekend.
“I think it’s hardly possible for us to finish fourth or fifth this season as Angkor Tiger and Boeung Ket are likely to win their final game.
“I think it’s not too bad for us because the gap between the sixth, fifth, and fourth place is not huge.
“Bata still has a chance to win the golden boot, and we will do everything we can to help him.”
