Sok Sovan has signed a new contract with Phnom Penh Crown, where he reckons as his second home.
The center-back returned to the Red Singha on loan from Visakha in the second round of the Metfone Cambodian League last season and helped Sum Vanna’s side reach semi-final of the Hun Sen Cup.
The 27-year-old, who made thirteen appearances for the Phnom Penh side last season, is ready to work hard to earn his place in the starting XI.
Sok Sovan told ppcfc.com: “I agreed to stay at Phnom Penh Crown as I feel happy here. I think it’s like my second family.
“I’m not sure whether I’m a regular starter. There will be many games to play, so we need to rotate the players. I need to work hard in training to show my quality to make Coach Vanna trust me.
“I trust the coach, and I think he can fix the problems we had from last season. Hopefully, we can challenge for the league title this season.”
