Paulo Victor claims that he had a joyful season with Phnom Penh Crown, but insists that his side should have done better after they finished sixth in the Cambodian League.
The Brazilian joined Phnom Penh Crown in 2019 and quickly established himself as a key player in the Red Singha’s attack with his impressive long-range goals.
With his impact, the striker has been rewarded a contract extension to show his commitment and passion for the club as he also wants to write his name in the club’s history.
The 25-year-old also pays tribute to the supporters whom he regards as the best supporters in Cambodia through their amazing support throughout the season.
“I think I had a good season, and the number of my goals was good too,” Paulo Victor, who scored eighteen league goals for Phnom Penh Crown this past season, told ppcfc.com.
“I’m never satisfied with what I have done because I always want to be better and achieve more. That’s my thinking as a football player. I think we should have been more confident with the ways we played on the pitch.
“I have learned a lot and enjoyed my first season with the club and thank all my teammates and all the coaching staff who helped me a lot for the whole season.
“I really enjoyed seeing such a passionate crowd, and I believe we have the best and biggest supporters in Cambodia. I’m very glad that I could give them some joy during each of our matches.”
