Paulo Victor has delivered some good news on the update of his injury that he is set to return to training in the next five or ten days.
The striker picked up an ankle injury on his right foot during Phnom Penh Crown’s 1-0 defeat to Chiang Rai United in the Leo Pre-season Cup in Thailand few weeks ago.
The Brazilian is working hard on recovery, and he is hopeful to be fit on time to face Electricite Du Cambodge in the Red Singha’s opening Metfone Cambodian League match this season.
Paulo Victor told ppcfc.com: “The doctor told me it depends on the muscle, meaning that if it gets better, I can join the training with the team in the next five or ten days. I’m getting fit, and I really want to play our first game of the season on February 15, but we shall see.
“I think our team is competitive this season. Each of us has more experience in the league, so I think it will be a good season for us. We will fight together to win the league title this season.”
