Cambodia U22 face Malaysia U22 in a decisive match in Group A of the SEA Games men’s football, and Orn Chanpolin is committed to doing everything he can to send Cambodia into the semi-final of the tournament.
This afternoon’s clash with Malaysia U22 is a must-win match for the young KoupreyBlues if they want to reach the semi-final as Myanmar U22 have already booked their place in the semi-final as Group A winners.
The Phnom Penh Crown skipper, who also captains Cambodia U22, told ppcfc.com: “We are ready and will come out for the victory as we want to advance to the next stage. As the team captain, I hope that we will do everything we can, raise our team spirit, and try to be focused till the final whistle.
“I am still optimistic that we will reach the next stage [semi-final] even though we face a strong opposition team, and the game will be tough, too.
“I hope the fans will be behind us as they give us a big boost in every game we play.”
