Cambodia take on Iran in their third Group C match in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers second round on October 10, and Orn Chanpolin can’t wait to face one of the Asian giants.
With his experience with Cambodia at international football, the Phnom Penh Crown skipper has no fear, but feels excited to face the Group C favorites.
The Red Singha skipper also outlines his team concern regarding the weather that could affect the team performance.
Orn Chanpolin told ppcfc.com: “The training is going well but a bit difficult with the weather. The team commitment and motivation are still the same. We are still trying to play good football, no matter how strong they are.
“That’s given me a lot of confidence and improved my individual tactic. I and my team are ready for this game, and we will try our best and as much as we can.
“I don’t think that I feel nervous, but it makes me excited to face a strong team in Asia and show us what level we are.”
