Lim Pisoth on target against Brunei U19

Lim Pisoth was handed another start against Brunei U19 yesterday after he remained an unused sub against Thailand U19 few days ago.
Cambodia U19 thrashed Brunei U19 3-0 in their final Group G match at the National Olympic Stadium, with Lim Pisoth bagging a goal and providing an assist.
The Phnom Penh Crown midfielder opened the scoring to give Cambodia U19 the lead in the fourteenth minute of the play as he smashed home his third goal of the AFC U19 Championship qualification campaign after picking up a through ball from Ean Pisey.
Fifteen minutes later, Lim Pisoth involved in Cambodia U19’s second goal of the night as he delivered a sublime corner kick for Keo Udom to head the ball into the net, which saw Cambodia U19 extend their lead to 2-0.
With thirty-five minutes gone, Lim Pisoth was close to get another goal for Cambodia U19, but his header from Met Samel’s cross was denied by the Brunei U19 goalkeeper.
Lim Pisoth’s early free kick in the second half was saved, and another his effort was denied before he was replaced by Wut Tola in the sixty-seventh minute.
Cambodia U19 went on to score another goal to beat Brunei U19 3-0 thanks to Min Ratanak’s late strike.
With three wins, one draw, and a defeat, Lim Pisoth’s Cambodia U19 finish second in Group G and are temporary among of the second-placed teams to secure a place in the final round of the AFC U19 Championship.
