Kok Boris is fully fit and available for this Saturday’s Metfone Cambodian League clash with Asia Euro United at the Smart RSN Stadium after missing Phnom Penh Crown’s opening two fixtures due to injury.
The center-back was left frustrated with his knee injury he picked up during the Red Singh’s international pre-season match against Kedah FA of Malaysia.
The French-Khmer born can’t wait to pull on Phnom Penh Crown’s famous jersey again upon his return to the club for the second spell as he hopes to be back with a bang.
Kok Boris told ppcfc.com: “I can’t wait to play my first Metfone Cambodian League game after two years. You know I was extremely frustrated with my knee injury against Kedah FA.
“I worked hard during two months in the pre-season, and I missed Leo Pre-season Cup and opening league games. That was a terrible moment for me, but thank Physio of the club, Arthur, our nutritionist as now I’m back stronger with hungry feeling to play and win.
“We have done an amazing job, and I will be 100 per cent to fight for our fantastic fans at the Smart RSN Stadium. Generally, three points is the most important for the team and the road to become champions.
“Personally, I want to get a victory and clean sheet because next week we will have our first big challenge of the season with [Preah Khan Reach] Svay Rieng, the champions of Cambodia.
“We must be serious about the game against Asia Euro United. We know we are the favourites, so we need to play hard in every game as victory is very important for us.”
